Ukuze abe yisidalwa esiqotho, umuntu kumele azi ukuthi ngubani uMenzi wakhe, azi ukuthi wadalelwani, kumele ayenze kanjani imisebenzi yokuba yisidalwa esenziwe, nokuthi uyidumisa kanjani Inkosi yendalo yonke, kumele uqondisise, ubambelele, wazi, nokuthi unakekele izinhloso zoMdali, izifiso, nezimfuno, nokuthi kumele wenze ngokuhambisana nendlela kaMdali—wesabe uNkulunkulu udede kokubi.
Kuyini ukwesaba uNkulunkulu? Nokuthi udeda kanjani ebubini?
“Ukumesaba uNkulunkulu” akusho ukwethuka nokwesaba okungenagama, noma ukugwema, noma ukubeka laphaya kude, noma ukukhonza noma izinkolelo-ze. Kunalokho, kuwukuhlonipha, isithunzi, ukwethemba, ukuqondisisa, ukunakekela, ukuthobela, ukuzinikela, uthando, kanjalo nokudumisa okungena mbandela nokungena kukhalaza, ukubaleka nokuzinikezela. Ngenye indlela, konke ukwenza nokuziphatha ngakho umuntu ayozimbandakanya nakho kuyoba ngokugcwele ukuphikisana nokwedelela, okunezinsolo zokuhlambalaza kanye nokwehlulela okungalungile Ngaye, kanye nokuziphatha ngobubi benze okuphambanayo neqiniso nencazelo eyiqiniso yamazwi kaNkulunkulu.
Ukuba nokwethemba ngeqiniso kuNkulunkulu, isintu siyoba nolwazi oluyilo lokuthi singamlandela kanjani uNkulunkulu nokwethembela Kuye; ngokuba nokwethemba kweqiniso kuphela kanye nokuncika kuNkulunkulu isintu esingaba nokuqonisisa kweqiniso nokwazi; ngokuhambisana nokuqondisisa ngeqiniso uNkulunkulu kufika ukunakekela kwangempela Kwakhe; ngokunakekela uNkulunkulu ngokweqiniso kuphela isintu singaba nokuhlonipha; ngokwenhlonipho yeqiniso kuphela kuNkulunkulu isintu singaba nokuzinikela kweqiniso; ngokuzinikela kuNkulunkulu ngeqiniso kuphela isintu esingaba nokukhonza okungenamibadela nokungakhalazi; ngokwethemba nokwencika ngaeniso kuphela, ngokuqondisisa ngeqiniso nokunakekela, ukuhlonipha kweqiniso nokuzinikela ngeqiniso nokukhonza, isintu esingathola ukwazi isimo nengqikithi kaNkulunkulu, kanye nokwazi ubunjalo bukaMdali; ukufinyelela ekumazini uMdali kuphela isintu esingazivuselela ngakho ekudumiseni ngeqiniso nokuzinikezela; ukukhonza ngeqiniso kuphela nokuzinikezela kuMdali isintu esiyokwazi ukubeka eceleni izindlela zaso ezimbi, lokho kungukuthi, ukudeda kokubi.
Lokhu kuhlanganisa indlela ephelele “yokwesaba uNkulunkulu udede kokubi,” nokuthi kubuye kube yingqikithi ngokuphelele ekwesabeni uNkulunkulu nokudeda kokubi, kanjalo futhi njengendlela okumele ihanjwe ukuze ufinyelele ekwesabeni uNkulunkulu nokudeda kokubi.

Ukwesaba uNkulunkulu nokudeda kokubi nokwazi uNkulunkulu kuxhumene ngezintambo eziningi ngokungehlukaniswe, nokuthi ukuxhumana phakathi kwazo kuyabonakala. Uma umuntu efisa ukuzuza ukudeda kokubi, kumele yena kuqala abe nokwesaba uNkulunkulu ngeqiniso; uma yena efisa ukuzuza ukwesaba uNkulunkulu ngeqiniso, yena kuqala kumele amazi uNkulunkulu ngeqiniso; uma efisa ukuthola ulwazi ngoNkulunkulu, yena kumele kuqala abenolwazi lwamazwi kaNkulunkulu, angene esiqinisekisweni samazwi kaNkulunkulu, abenolwazi lokujeziswa nokuqondiswa nguNkulunkulu, ukujeziswa nokwahlulelwa Nguye; uma yena efisa ukuba nolwazi lalawa mazwi kaNkulunkulu, yena kumele kuqala abhekane ubuso nobuso namazwi kaNkulunkulu, abhekane ubuso nobuso noNkulunkulu, nokunxusa uNkulunkulu amuphe amathuba okuwezwa amazwi kaNkulunkulu ngezindlela zonke ezahlukene ezifaka phakathi umuntu, izehlo, nezinto; uma yena efisa ukubhekana ubuso nobuso noNkulunkulu namazwi kaNkulunkulu, yena kumele kuqala abe nenhliziyo ngokulula nje, abe nenhliziyo elungile, akulungele ukwamukela iqiniso, uthando lokubekezelela ubuhlungu, isinqumo kanye nesibindi sokudeda kokubi, kanye nentshiseko yokuba yisidalwa esiqinisekile….Ngale ndlela, ukuya phambili kancane kancane, kuzokusondeza nakakhulu kuNkulunkulu, inhliziyo yakho iyoya ngokukhula ebungcweleni, nokuthi impilo yakho nokubaluleka kokuba uyaphila kuyoba, ngokuhambisana nolwazi lwakho lukaNkulunkulu, ngokusemqoka kakhulu nokuthi impilo yakho iyocwebezela nakakhulu.
